From her inspiration....

To her creation...

Look at those little toes!!!
Amanda has more info and pics on these cookies on her blog, i am baker. And while you are there, you must, MUST take a gander at her 4th of July cake! (I'm sorry to be bossy like that, but really...go look.) I'm telling you, there is a cake decorating book in her future!

Adorable cookie! I am amazed at how you are able to keep such a steady hand to create that outline of the frog.
Awesome tutorial Amanda! You can pipe so well and outline so confidently!
Amanda is AMAZING! I'm always inspired by her creativity and awesome edible artwork.
Love it!!! You are an amazing baker, I love seeing the videos!!!

Wow Amanda, You are truly an artist with icing! So nice to see your skills on U of Cookie!
Adding the depth of the double iced toes is such a well thought out idea! Amanda, you are a true sugar artist. I agree with Bridget, a book should definitely be in your future. Better start writing right away! I'll be waiting :)
ok, see you have to be an ARTIST to do that!! Fantastic job Amanda!! I could never do that! lol
I can't believe you did the frog free hand with an icing tip!
Seriously, never under estimate your God given talent. Super tutorial Amanda.
I have wanted to see Amanda work for so long. Thank you for posting such an amazing video. She's so talented!! It was amazing to just watch her free form that perfect little tree frog! Wow...I'm in awe!!
You guys seriously make me blush. Thank you so much! I know I have learned so much from the amazing folks here at UofC... not only from the 'instructors' but from the commentors!! You guys have great tips and suggestions! (and encouragement!)
Be blessed!
Amanda
Amanda, Awesome job and great tutorial. You are so talented. I'm loving everyone's videos and hope someday to be brave enough to attempt some cookies that turn out half as good as the U of C's team.
wow those are amazing! I love the feet!
My goodness! That is AMAZING work! I mean, so precise on the outline FREE-HAND! I am (once again) blown away by her talent. I see a baking book in Amanda's future too - the cakes she makes with the scenes inside will be featured on Martha's show ANY day now! And I say, GOOD FOR HER!
Thank you, Bridget - Love everything about you - but you already know that!
SO impressed with the freehanding. Love those little tree frogs. And no tip for filling. What a great idea. That would save me a lot of effort.
Amanda,
Using the word 'screwup' in reference to making this cookie? Um, no...I don't think so. This is adorable and your skill and confidence I am sure are coveted by many. Like me.
I'm impressed you can do this all freehand! You are very artistic.
I've tried putting my flooding icing in a piping bag before but I can't seem to keep it from dripping out the end and make a mess. Any tips for that?
So cute I had to make some frog cookies of my own!
