Making Cut-Out Cookies from a Template : a video tutorial

Amanda from i am baker is sharing a big secret with us today.  (No, it's not the news she shared on her other blog last week, although, I LOVED that news.)

Today, Amanda shows how to make a cut-out cookie when you don't have the right cookie cutter.  It's easier than you think!

Thank you, Amanda!  Now, go get yourself some saltines and put your feet up!

{PS...here is the video from Cheryl on rolling cookie dough that she mentions.}

YES! Maybe this way I can finally make a Nerf bullet cookie! There's honestly nothing more important in life than solving that particular dilemma. Or so my boys think.

Congrats, Amanda! Sounds like a tough time for you - just lean into it, darlin'. As I always tried to remind myself, during my pregnancies, "They're so much easier to take care of before they're born." LOL!

Thanks Amanda! I've tried this before on one-shot cookies with cardstock, but I like the photo paper idea, too.
