A wonderful reader emailed me about this technique of brush embroidery on cookies. Ali from Ali Bee's Bake Shop (side note...she has the prettiest blog & cookies!) has a fabulous video tutorial on how to do it and said we could share it here....YAY!!!
I want to break out the royal icing, like, NOW! Isn't that cool?
Here is the link to a written and picture tutorial.
Ali....I think you are awesome! Thank you so much for letting us share! :)

Ali's is so adept at this technique and I admire her and her lovely blog and gorgeous cookies. So nice of her to share her video with all of us here at U of C.

OMG that is the coolest thing! I need to try this soon. Thanks for sharing!
I'm going to try these this weekend when my daughter visits. Hope they turn out half as beautiful. Thanks for sharing the video.
Just wanted to let you know that I referred you in my favorite blogs. Could you return the favor? Thanks dear! http://theaddictedbaker.blogspot.com/p/favorite-blogs.html
I just tried it on some cookies that I am making for my sorority friends and it was so easy. Even if you think you made a mistake it is hard to tell that it is. Thanks for sharing!
