Um, I meant to post this in JANUARY!!!! So sorry, guys!

So pardon the caps and mittens in SPRING, but the technique remains the same.
Callye did a great tutorial on how she applies sanding sugar. One thing I love about University of Cookie and cookie blogs is that there are so many ways to decorate cookies. Experiment...and do what works for you!
Happy decorating!

Great job Bridget... you make learning so fun and easy!!
Lovely! It's so nice that you do these videos. And unfortunatley we are still wearing hats here in Ohio. Still.
Love this trick! I am such a mess with sanding sugar I will definitely try the coffee filter :)
Bridget, why do you use meringue powder & water? Wouldn't just a light brushing of water work?
I learn something ALL the time from this blog & its excellent teachers!!!
you make it look so easy B~ i also love hearing your voice :) these cookies are adorable :)
oh my! they turned out BEAUTIFUL
Hey! What do you think of my blog - http://teenage-baking.blogspot.com.
I'm just a teenager so this is all new to me !
I'm so extremely excited about finding this site by way of Amanda's then her link to Bakeat350, then here! I'm gearing up to make some cookies for my daughter's bridal shower but I'm skeered! I used to be much better at this, to me the sugar cookie has always been at the top over cupcakes :D But now I have MS and nooooo energy and I've been worried about making stuff ahead of time. I can't do it too close to the event or I won't be walking or even able to go due to pain. So I'm sending you a heartfelt thanks for the tips, advice, tutorials, and everything that will hopefully help me get through this!
What a great idea to use a coffee filter. You have a great blog and very informative. You should post more often.
